Eagle Mountain, West Cook Minnesota 07/02/2019

The highest peak in Minnesota at 2301 ft. Eagle Mountain is a 3.5 mile hike to the top and the first stop on #wnatop50. Myself and 4 others meet up at the trailhead of Eagle Mountain and introduced each other. On the trail we stopped at the lake, a few look out points and then finally at the maker for the highest point in Minnesota. Throughout the hike we shared stories about Iraq and Afghanistan and we talked about our struggles after the military. I'd say it was very therapeutic for everyone on the trip. Three pizzas at Jimmy's pizza in Silver Bay hit the spot after the hike. I'd like to thank everyone who tagged along.

Tough Mudder - 07/13/2015

A group of us got together and made the 8 mile obstacle course look easy! The team work and motivation displayed by everyone made me proud.

Mt. Marcy Adirondack Mountains- NY highest point 07/27/2019

Myself and a group of veterans made the 17 mile hike up to New York's highest point. The hike started off pretty easy until we hit about mile 2. Then the elevation started to take effect. We pushed through the pain and made it up to the peak. This was a challenge that 8 veteran friends, most of us meeting in person for the first time, made a memory that will last a life time. As usual this turned out to be a great therapy session for everyone involved. The pain of climbing the mountain, pushing through the pain, hunger and heat, created that sense of camaraderie that we miss from the military.

Thank you to all veterans that completed this mission with me!

A group of veterans got together to put in some work at Minnesota Wolfdogs. We built a new door for one of the barns and we built 2 new pens for the wolfdogs. There were a lot of new veterans that got to spend some time in the pens. Even getting some good selfies with them. The experience of helping the sanctuary and playing with wolfdogs is something that will never be forgotten.

#operationwolfdog 10/20/19

A group of us built a dog house for one of the female wolves. Then we took a hike down to Wolf Creek falls with Diesel and Jazzy. Followed by Lunch at Amy's Country Cafe  as usual!
